Raise: Cumbria Community Forest
Since 2024, Wild Museum has produced and led delivery of public programmes for Raise: Cumbria Community Forest. Raise is a collective of foresters, artists and researchers, working across Cumbria with communities, landowners and regional policymakers. Raise plants woodlands to address the climate crisis, whilst creating social and economic opportunities, and improving health and wellbeing. Raise is a neurodivergent-led organisation actively working with neurodivergent participants, partners and practitioners.
Wild Museum leads the engagement programmes that are central to Raise’s 25-year plan.

We grow Raise partnerships with regional organisations and artists to deliver programmes with communities of priority. This includes neurodivergent Cumbrians and residents who have experienced historical barriers to green spaces.
Activity ranges from creative consultation workshops, to inclusive planting days, to employability schemes.
