Wild Museum make physical and digital creative programmes with communities across the UK, working with arts, heritage and environmental organisations.

From post-industrial towns to vast, rural spaces, our work explores human relationships with place, people and the changing natural world.

Our approach is multi-disciplinary. We collaborate with everyone from visual artists to soil scientists to social history archivists to machine learning technologists to healthcare professionals. We are passionate about actively involving targeted communities in our work. See more about us.

Consultancy and Mentoring

We also advise, consult and mentor organisations, particularly those within the cultural heritage sector. Recent clients include Durham County Council, BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, Canal and River Trust, Tyneside Cinema, North Pennines AONB, and we are a digital mentor for National Lottery Heritage Fund. Our team has vast experience of leading teams organisations and initiating large-scale programmes and initiatives.

Our specialisms include community engagement and audience development; digital interpretation; children and young people engagement; participatory programming; organisational change; natural heritage interpretation; creative reuse of collections and archives.
